White Bird is an independent, non-profit educational project that makes economics and financial markets accessible to beginners.
Our mission
To democratise economic literacy: clear, progressive explanations that define technical terms as they appear, taking you from the basics to how financial markets work.
Our method
Our content draws on reference works — notably “Principles of Economics” by N. Gregory Mankiw for macro- and microeconomics, and “Technical Analysis of the Financial Markets” by John J. Murphy for technical analysis. These works are cited as sources: we do not reproduce their text and we explain every concept in plain language, staying true to the authors' meaning.
Transparency
White Bird shows no advertising, sets no advertising cookies and never resells data. The TradingView market widgets set their own audience-measurement cookies — details are in our privacy policy. To learn more:
Accuracy and corrections
Our explanations rely on reference sources and are reviewed and corrected on an ongoing basis. Spotted an error or an imprecision? Report it via the contact page — we fix issues quickly.
